There once was a dog named Towser who ran a very popular pizza parlor in the heart of a city. What made his pizzas so popular, incidentally, was the way he made them; he'd build the crusts up high, and make them lean to one side before baking them. Everyone would come from miles around to see the Leaning Pizzas of Towser.
The Garfield Showis the most recent Garfield TV series, which premiered on Cartoon Network on November 22, 2009. Of Garfield's TV incarnations, this one, interestingly enough, stays closest to the spirit of the comic strip. The series chronicles the daily escapades of the famous fat cat, his bumbling owner Jon, his dopey dog pal Odie, his girlfriend Arlene, his mouse buddy Squeak, the troublemaking Nermal, and Jon's girlfriend Dr.Liz Wilson. A particular point of interest is that the series featured a vast number of characters exclusive to the show, such as Vito the pizza guy, whose restaurant Jon and his crew would often frequent, his girlfriend Angelica(no relation, fortunately), resident tough guy Harry the alley cat, crazy inventor Dr. Thaddeus Bonkers, eccentric TV food critic Eddie Gourmand, inept dogcatchers Al*and Pete, Nathan, the seemingly friendly neighbor boy who's secretly an evil scientist, feisty neighborhood chihuahua Hercules, Jon's hyper twin cousinsDrusilla and Minerva, who are forever trying to play dress up with Garfield and Odie(much to their chagrin), and Jon's overbearing Aunt Ivy, among others.
Episodes would usually center around a problem or situation of some sort, which it would then be up to Garfield to solve, as only Garfield can!
Overall, The Garfield Show is a very funny, entertaining show. The CGI artwork is excellent(very comic-strip grade!), the episode plots are very enjoyable, and the show's vast entourage of characters are good, likeable, and very charismatic. Garfield aficionados, especially former fans ofGarfield and Friends(such as myself) are sure to love this.(One episode I particularly would like to reccommend BTW, is "Long Lost Lyman", a four-parter in which the mystery of Lyman's disappearance is finally solved.)

The Weekenders was a TV series made by Disney in 2000. It was broadcast on the Disney Channel and its sister networks ABC and Toon Disney(now Disney XD).
The show chronicled the weekend plans of four 12-year old kids residing in the fictional city of Bahia Bay, California. The group consisted of the neurotic, high-strung Tino Tonittini, the goofytomboy Lor McQuarrie, the slightly stuck-up Carver Descartes, and the smart,sensible Tish Katsufracas. The kids enjoyed such activities as playing basketball, shooting pool, playing video games, going to rock concerts, and eating at the local pizza parlor(the motif of which changes with every episode). Episodes usually involved some(usually odd) situation occuring, and the kids having to solve it(with ample hilarity ensuing).
This show, regrettably, is not currently available on TV or DVD, but a lot of episodes(if not all) are available on Youtube.
Overall, this is a good, funny, well-made show that definetly deserved more attention than it got. The main characters manage to be both funny and relatable, and their equally wacky friends and relatives more than add to the show's appeal. The voice cast is also excellent, with the main characters themselves being voiced by a fewofthebest. Humorous running gags are also utilized in most(if not all) of the episodes, such being Lor's brothers dog-piling on anyone who enters their house, jibes about Tino's head resembles a pumpkin and/or Carver's head resembling a pineapple, Tino's mother's bizarre recipes, Coach Colson, the school gym teacher answering the door in his bathrobe thinking he hears girl scouts selling cookies(lovely...just lovely...), hilariously embarassing things happening to the perpetually unseen Chloe Montez et al. An underrated show that's most certainly worth a peek.
