Joke of the Week Extra:Trick Questions!

1. Do they have a Fourth of July in England?

2.What do you have if you take 2 apple from 3 apples?

3.How many birthdays does the average person have?

4.A farmer had 16 chickens. All but 11 died. How many chickens were left?

5.What planet is closest to us at the present time?

6.Some months have 31 days and some have 30 days; how many have 28 days?

7.We have two coins that equal 35 cents. One is not a quarter. What coins are they?

8.Does half of 2 plus 2 equal 2...or 3?

1.Absolutely! They may not celebrate it, but there is a July 4 on their calendar.

2.You have two apples, because that's what you took.

3.Everyone has the same number of birthdays-one per year.

4.All but 11 died, so 11 must be left.

5.The planet Earth; it's right under our feet.

6.Every month has(at least) 28 days.

7.A quarter and a dime. We had said that one of the coins wasn't a quarter, and the dime was the one.

8.This is a question everyone gets right, because you can use either one of these answers:
Half of 2 is 1, plus 2 equals 3.
2+2=4; half of 4 is 2.
